Overview

Tortuga Island is the favorite one-day tour from the Nicoya Peninsula. The adventure begins by boarding at Playa Montezuma where the guide will provide safety instructions before starting a 45-minute boat ride along the coast, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful landscape of the Nicoya Peninsula.

On board, tasty tropical fruits and refreshing natural drinks will be served. Once the boat arrives at Tortuga Island, you will be taken for a snorkeling session around the tectonic rocks near the island. The staff on board will provide the necessary equipment and safety instructions. These waters are also home to species such as King Angelfish, Porcupine Fish, Morays, Needlefish, and Spotted Eagle Rays.

It's then time for lunch and a cold beer. Choose from a grilled yellowfin tuna medallion or chicken with sides of broiled vegetables and potatoes; a vegetarian option is also available. After such a great meal, enjoy a fresh Costa Rican-style coffee, relax, and soak in the beauty of Tortuga's beautiful white sand beach and turquoise waters.
