Overview

The adventure begins as you board at Playa Montezuma, where our guide will provide safety instructions before embarking on a 25-minute boat ride along the coast. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the stunning landscape of the Nicoya Peninsula.

Upon reaching Tambor Bay, our crew awaits at Playa Muertos with drinks, snacks, and tropical fruits. Take your time to swim and snorkel right in front of Playa Muertos while we await the sunset.

Our knowledgeable staff, many of whom were born in this area, are eager to share information about the region. At 6:15 pm, we're ready to set out and find the best spot to swim with the bioluminescent plankton, a rare natural phenomenon observed in only a few places around the world.

Your guide will provide you with the necessary equipment and safety instructions for approximately one hour of swimming, allowing you to immerse yourself in the magical glow created by millions of microorganisms.

At 7:15 pm, we'll return to the boat and sail towards Playa Pochote, where our land transportation service awaits to transfer you back to Montezuma. The transfer back takes about 40 minutes, completing our unforgettable adventure.
